Here’s a look at the numbers: global podcast listeners reached 546.7 million in 2024, marking a 7.85% year-over-year growth. In this thriving sector, Brussels-based independent podcast production company PodPodPod approached us to craft a visual identity for their brand and several specific podcast series.

Founded in 2022 by Céline Duvivier and Damien Delanoë, PodPodPod offers a full range of podcasting services with a special focus on content for young adults, teenagers, and kids. Their tone—relaxed, playful, friendly, and engaging—inspired us to create a visual identity that mirrors their personality and values.

Working within the constraints of podcast platforms and social media, where visuals are often square, we played on their repetitive name, fracturing it into three iterations of “Pod.” This approach gave the logo a variable, hyper-adaptable quality, allowing it to fit seamlessly into corners of illustrations, social media posts, or photographs.

With the overall visual identity established, we turned to designing identities for two of PodPodPod’s flagship podcasts aimed at younger audiences. Keskidi (“Say what?”) is a podcast for toddlers, explaining French idioms like “Donner sa langue au chat” or “Se mettre sur son 31.” Each episode is paired with an illustration, making it easy for non-reading children to choose what they want to listen to.

We also created vibrant cover images for Nos héroïnes (“Our Heroines”), an original RTBF podcast series for children that celebrates the incredible stories of 10 Belgian women, past and present.
